Effective date: October 24, 2026
This policy explains what Better Living collects, why we collect it, who helps us run the service, and the choices you have. Better Living is operated by Better Living, a brand of Cadence HR AI, LLC, 390 NE 191st St, STE 97319, Miami, FL 33179 (“Better Living,” “we,” or “us”). Better Living is a household nutrition and wellness service. It is not a medical service.
What we collect
Better Living collects information you choose to provide, including invite-request contact information and the household information needed to personalize your experience.
Health information is treated as sensitive. It is used only to provide and improve your Better Living experience. We do not sell personal health data or share it with advertisers.
Service providers
We use service providers to operate Better Living. Vercel hosts our website and API and receives request and technical information. Supabase provides our database, authentication, and private storage and receives invite-request contact information and the account and household information needed for those services.
Third-party AI providers process the conversation content needed to generate a coaching response; we do not send a complete health profile or household record for that purpose. Server-only job runners receive only the data needed for meal-plan and recipe-photo work. Resend receives recipient email addresses and the contents of transactional emails. Sentry receives technical error information; health values must not be included in error reports.
Meal and food photos
Meal and food photos you attach to a log are stored in private storage and are kept only until your household or your account is deleted, including photos you unlink from a log or that never become part of one. They are never sent to an AI model for inference.
Garmin and other wearable data
Better Living does not connect to Garmin or any other wearable or device today. A device connection may be coming soon. If we add one, it would work this way:
- Opt-in only. A device connection would stay off until you turn it on, and it would ask for its own consent, separate from creating your account and from any other consent you give us.
- What we would store. Only the device values that feed targets Better Living already uses, such as sleep duration or a device sleep score, with the date and the name of the connected service. We would not store heart-rate variability, resting heart rate, or sleep stages, and we would never see your password for the device service.
- How we would use it. Device values would be shown back to you and used to shape your plan. We would report what the device says, not interpret it as a medical finding.
- Private by default. Device data would be visible only to you unless you choose to share it with your household.
- Disconnect and deletion. You could disconnect at any time. We would then stop collecting device data and delete the device data we stored from that connection. Deleting your account would delete it too.
- No sale. We will never sell device data or share it with advertisers or data brokers.
Grocery partners and retailers
Sending your shopping list to a grocery service or retailer such as Instacart, Walmart, or Kroger is coming soon. None of these connections is available yet; today you can print or share your list and shop wherever you like. If we add them, they would work this way:
- Only when you act. Nothing would be sent to a grocery partner unless you choose to send it.
- Only what is needed. We would share only what the partner needs to build your cart or list: the items and quantities and, if the partner needs it to show the right store, the store or ZIP code you picked.
- Never your health details. We would not share your health information, targets, weight, coaching conversations, or household member details with grocery partners.
- Their policies apply on their side. Once you are on the partner’s site or app, your order, payment, and delivery would be handled by that partner under its own privacy policy and terms.
- No sale. We do not sell your information to grocery partners or anyone else.
Affiliate links
Better Living does not use affiliate links today. In the future, some links to Instacart and other retailers may be affiliate links, and Better Living may earn a commission from the retailer if you buy something after following one.
To credit a purchase, the retailer or its affiliate network may learn that you arrived from Better Living, usually through a code in the link or a cookie the retailer sets. We would not send them your health information or plan details. Our Affiliate Disclosure explains how this would work.
Your household and your account
Some information belongs to your household, such as the weekly plan and the shopping list, and members of your household can see it. Personal health values such as weight are private to you by default.
Contact us at hello@betterliving.coach to export or delete your data.
When we delete your account, we remove your account and the personal information tied to it, including your health information and the photos stored for you. If another member remains in a household you own, ownership passes to them and the household’s shared plan and list stay with that household. If you are the only member, the household and its data are deleted too.
Invite requests are stored so our founding team can follow up about beta access.
Changes and questions
If we make a meaningful change to this policy, we will update the effective date above and tell account holders before the change applies.
